Prof. A. D. Akinde is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chams, a responsibility he
assumed on January 3, 2005. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Nigeria, and he has gained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sussex, Brighton, UK.
He is a fellow and past president of the Computer Association of Nigeria (now Nigeria Computer Society).He has consulted widely for Government, Private sector, as well as International Agencies both locally and abroad.
