The situation - Crisis in our public cemeteries: Public cemeteries are no longer able to effectively play any of their roles for the benefit of mankind or to the glory of God. They are typically characterised by overcrowding and too often, neglect. For profit organisations make valiant attempts to fill the vacuum but their “for profit” nature brings about several limitations, they are often too expensive for majority of the populace not to mention too few and far between. Where the public systems have failed, the Church with the government resting on its shoulders must lead the way.
Thrust of JCCC Memorial parks project: Providing a secured and dignified final resting place irrespective of means or social status, awaiting the final resurrection. The project is about giving friends, family and the well meaning general public the place and means to memorialise their loved ones all over the country . (There should be an image of the greens of Arlington memorial parks in the background)
