He became a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management in 2007. He is a graduate of Industial and Production Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State. With respect to maintenance, he is skilled in facility Management and structural Engineering operations.

Akinjide has worked as a member of a well experienced team in the development and maintenance of high profile, multibillion naira estate facilities for reputable Organizations such as Intercontinental homes savings and loans, sterling bank Plc, Union homes Savings and loans among others.

In 2005/2007 he single handed co- ordinate laudable non – profit projects with the Borno State Government, Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) Nigerian Agricultural Cooperative Rural Development Bank (NACRDB) and National Agency for food, Drug and Administration Control (NAFDAC) Akinjide in 2007 successfully established the first computer technical and installation Centre in Borno State and the first Prison HIV/AIDS Counselling Centre for youths in Nigeria. On these laudable achievements he has received many awards.
