A 2009 Fellow of the Centre for Social Innovation (Executive Programme for Nonprofit Leaders) at Stanford Graduate School of Business, `Yemisi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Christian Cemetery Company Ltd/Gte (JCCC), a faith-based, nonprofit, social enterprise, in the business of designing, building and maintaining secured memorial parks for the Christian community in Nigeria. Based in Lagos, she has, since September 2008, been working in conjunction with the JCCC Board in defining the organisation’s strategy, providing focus for its long-term strategic direction and setting up its structures. She has the oversight function of driving the JCCC vision and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation.

Prior to joining JCCC, she was the Executive Secretary of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ), an NGO, for 3 (three) years between 2005 and 2008 where she ran the day-to-day affairs of WIMBIZ operations. She was responsible for driving the vision and implementing the decisions of the Board of Trustees.

`Yemisi has also worked in various capacities gaining experience in hospitality (Sheraton Lagos Hotel & Towers), marketing, business and service strategy, training and management consultancy (Tom Associates - Training & Management Consultants). A 1988 graduate of the University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, she is a Certified Facilitator/Trainer. She has also participated in nonprofit executive education programmes at the Harvard Business School, Harvard University and the HARVARD Kennedy School (John F. Kennedy School of Government), and Continuing Fundraising Education (preparatory to CFRE - Certified Fund Raising Executive accreditation) at the Foundation Center, New York.

She is married to Olumuyiwa Kayode Ikuomola, a Hospitality Consultant, and they are blessed with two children, Oluwatoyin and Oluwatobi. Her current professional interests include social entrepreneurship, fundraising and reading. A committed Christian, she volunteers her services as the President of the Women Ministry and serves on several committees at her local Church, Assemblies of God, Anifowoshe. `Yemisi is also a volunteer and mentor on the ‘Women Mentoring Women’ programme of Idea Builders.
