The project is based on the 7th Corporal Act of Mercy according to John Wesley, the father of Methodism:
To feed the hungry
To give drink to the thirsty
To clothe the naked
To harbour the homeless
To visit the sick
To ransom the captive
To bury the dead
OBJECTIVES OF THE JCCC MEMORIAL PARKS PROJECT
• To provide secured and dignified final resting places irrespective of means and social status
• To support the government in the area of afterlife services
• To provide a means to help keep the memories of loved ones and historical legacies or as we say in JCCC to memorialize our departed ones
• To contribute immensely and positively to the tourism, green culture and aesthetics of its environment
• To serve as historical databank and custodian of our legacies as a people
